Totes and containers are widely used across industries where bulk or medium-sized items need to be stored, transported, or handled efficiently.
Designed for a wide range of totes and attached-lid containers, such as HogBoxes, our TL Series Lifters provide an intuitive solution that significantly reduces – or even eliminates – manual handling of box-type loads.
Available in versions for single, double or multiple stacked containers, with bespoke sizes and configurations to fit your existing equipment, our tote lifters make loading and unloading faster, safer and more efficient.
Typical sectors include:
As our equipment is UK-made, manually operated and lightweight – they can also be safely used in stores and other public areas, with reduced safety precautions compared to electric-powered devices.
By handling multiple containers at once with no extra equipment, they ease workloads, improve time efficiency and enhance workplace safety.
TL series lifters consist of a slimline trolley and forks to slide underneath or on the outer part of a container, which can lift from lipped edges or from the underside, depending on the style.
Special features can include drop-down shelves for multi-purpose use with miscellaneous load types and fold-away steps for additional height access for picking and replenishment.
Ideal for:
Our box handling systems can be configured for:
Depending on the application, the equipment can engage beneath the load, support it on a platform or work with suitable container lips and edges.
This allows the handling system to be designed around the load and working process rather than forcing operators to adapt to unsuitable standard equipment.
The right box handling equipment will depend on the size, weight and construction of the load, together with the required lifting height and working environment.
Individual box and tote lifting
Compact box lifters can raise individual totes, crates and rigid containers from a trolley, dolly or floor-level position.
Bringing the load to a more comfortable working height can support safer picking, packing, inspecting and component-handling tasks.
Multiple tote handling
Where several containers need to be moved together, a multi-tote system can reduce the number of separate lifting movements required.
Subject to the total weight and stability of the load, the lifter may be configured to handle two or more stacked containers in one controlled operation.
Tall-stack destacking
Tall tote stacks can create awkward handling positions as operators work from above shoulder height down towards floor level.
A tote box lifting system can lower the stack gradually, allowing containers to be removed at a safer and more consistent working height.
This can be particularly useful in warehousing, distribution, retail replenishment and picking operations.
Wide boxes and supported loads
Some loads cannot be handled safely using forks or standard container interfaces.
A deck or shelf configuration can provide a stable supporting surface for wider boxes, tool cases, packaged components and other suitable loads.
Uses our patented DuoPump technology for fast lifting of the load with an intuitive single pedal operation for lifting and lowering.
Lifting ranges from 600mm to 2400mm
Our products are designed and manufactured in-house, using the latest manufacturing techniques, CE/UKCA Marked and rigorously tested to ensure compliance with all relevant standards.
