DHL Sainsburys Argos – taller VanMate for retail home delivery

DHL were experiencing issues handling white goods, homewares and furniture for Sainsbury's Argos, as their demountable trucks and lorry trailers had no tail lifts across the fleet and no means to install an electrical solution.

A suitable lifting solution was required to minimise manual handling and the risk of injury for the operators when making deliveries.

The resulting solution is:

• A single piece of equipment that loads, unloads and transports goods from the vehicle to the customer and back with little to no physical exertion from the operator minimising risk of injury.
• The solution costs a fraction of a tail lift or similar alternative - and the same equipment can deliver the goods direct to threshold for most customers.
