TTP Labtech approached MJ Products to find a solution for handling specialist refrigeration units required for their liquid handling technology products. During the manufacturing process of one of their innovative products, TTP Labtech needed to install refrigeration skids into electrical control cabinets. Previously, they had some success using a conventional scissor lift arrangement. However, the design of the scissor lift prevented it from lowering close enough to the floor, making it impossible to position skids into the lowest aperture of the cabinet. While a scissor table was suitable for positioning skids on the second level, it could not be used for the bottom shelf.
MJ Products was asked to supply a low-profile lifting solution that would provide full access to all shelves within the cabinet. The Easylifter, featuring DuoPump lift technology, enabled installation at just 65mm from the ground. It could easily handle refrigeration skids weighing up to 250kg and lift them from an assembly bench to a height of up to 1250mm, ensuring a seamless installation process.
